Miguel Cabrera drove in two runs and Ivan Rodriguez went 4-for-4 for third-place Detroit, which pulled within 6 1/2 games of the AL Central-leading White Sox.

The game is a unique partnership, with Konami designing the game in Japan, but with distribution coming through 2K Sports."

Let the Games Begin! [Scientific American Magazine]

Scientific American’s resident skeptic Michael Shermer writes about the doping scandals plaguing cycling, baseball and other sports, and he suggests how to curb those practices. Please ignore him.
